My hunt continues.......

Mom was feeling lazy today and decided to just take me for a good long stroll around the neighborhood instead of my usual beach romp. I was feeling pretty bummed out about it UNTIL..........................

I saw THIS..............

And I started to do THIS.........

The "Quiet Stalker", The "Silent Killer"

As of today, parental control is going to be turned on Animal Planet, and Discovery Channel. Mom says I have been watching the lions hunt too much, and am now putting what I have learned into practice. I hate to admit this, but mom's right.......

When I first saw the "kitty" today, the scene of a pride of lionesses stalking their prey flashed across my mind. I remembered they stalked in utter silence, moved one tiny step at a time......LIKE THIS......

They moved closer and CLOSER........

Until they got close enough to the prey............

THEN.......... THEY MADE THE RUN FOR THE KILL!!!!

Unfortunately, there is no picture of "me" for this part because my EVIL mom wouldn't let go of the stupid line that was attached to me............... I was so mad that I pouted the entire way home!!

Note to self: remember to keep the tail down next time - the lionesses had their tails down so their prey wouldn't see them.

No wonder the guard kitty was staring at me the whole time........

Here are a couple previous posts of me stalking/watching "animals":

Hi Sunshade,
Sometimes we have wild cats that hang around here. We can really smell them too! Ooh, we also get bobcats around our area. We haven't seen them yet, but other people have near here. They also found footprints in the woods behind us. We'll have to have you come protect us from them! woof woof!
Luv,
Butchy & Snickers

Sue: Thanks so much for visiting my blog, I'm glad you liked it!!

Boo: That a good boy Boo, just follow your nose, and you'll never be wrong!! ARe you sure you don't have any "terror" in you?? You're kinda acting "terrier" like LOL..

Buster: Thanks for the advice, I will try to remember it next time (but sometimes my brain doens't work that well when all that adrenaline is pumping ya know..). Have you had any luck with the "slink stealth attack mode"??

Butchy & Snickers: WOW....Bobcats?? I've never seen one of those before, can't wait to see one!! Maybe you should print out the photo (that your mom made) of me scaring the raccoons and put it on your patio, maybe that will keep the raccoons and wildcats away? What'd ya think?

T-man: Hey cute little guy, thanks very much for visiting my blog!

Sleep tight,
Miss Sunshade

What a wonderful blog! I loved the pictures. I was in Vancouver when I was 16 back in 1986 and I loved it. I didn't realize it was so dogfriendly with such gorgeous lakes and beaches. You live a fine life pal!
