Now, the REAL exciting news!!!! Mum is finally going to own her first ever painting of me without having to bid. Since mum's eBaying record has been terrible and extremely frustrating with the last 4 paintings, Barbara decided to paint one just for mum so she won't have to bid on eBay!!

Sunshade Catching Snowball

Since Barbara does original paintings, she had to make the second painting a little different, so she added in the snowman and the mountains in the eBay painting. Mum can't decided which one she likes better, she is just happy she is finally gonna be able to get a painting of me!!!

It was listed on eBay, and as usual, mum lost the auction. She is a little (ok, a lot) disappointed, but I guess that's just how it goes on e-bay.

As you can see, Barbara added a few Fall/Halloween touches to the photo. This was the BIG FAT corn I picked in my quest to answer the question - How do you eat your Corn on the Cob??

I was so excited to get my parcel from Butchy & Snickers that I decided to play "keep away" game with mum!! Inside that parcel was my beautiful HOT PINK fleece jumper suit!

Painting of ME!!!

About a month ago, I was contacted by Barbara Keigher, an artist, regarding permission to use my photos for her paintings after visiting my blog. After consulting with my secretary, I agreed to the request. Barbara, like mum, was once owned by her own pollyanna Airedale named "Shama". The heartbreak of losing Shama at the age of 13 prevented Barbara from getting another doggie. It, however, did not stop her from painting the breed dear to her heart.

This is the first painting Barbara did of ME!!! Isn't it CUTE??
