Unlikely Animal Friends - Second Place Finish!!!

First of all, I just want to thank ALL of you who voted and helped ME & My Piggies in the Unlikely Animal Friends Contest!!!

I can't tell you how many people with Facebook accounts shared and cross posted to others' accounts or online yahoo groups, and they in turn shared and cross posted too! I also know people that didn't have Facebook accounts sent out mass e-mails with the voting link to their friends should they have Facebook accounts. Cesar Milan also put my link in his newsletter and on his wall, so I now have a bunch of fans that talk to me in Español (thank you google translator!!). I feel so fortunate to have people from all over the world supporting me. We managed to close the gap between me and the first place contestants (from 800 votes down to 500) on that last day of voting, and we are extremely pleased with our second place finish out of thousands that entered!! Thank you to Judy, our Facebook friend for letting us know and urging us to enter in this contest. We were able to submit our entry last minute! Both mum and I have made so many new friends, well, new fans for ME, and I have made so many people smile, so we couldn't be happier!

Winning would be great, but what's more important is knowing that we've put a smile on 1800+ people's faces. That has been the sole purpose behind Sunshade/Jaffa's blogs and videos. Sunshade is my very special girl whom I got at 16, two weeks before I moved out of home. It was just me & her. She has taught me so much, stood by me every step of the way and made my life that much better. I am thrilled that I have been able to share her with the rest of the world.
