Romp with Simba

Mum took me to my favourite beach this afternoon for our alone time. I said hello to dogs, everything was calm at first. Forgot my RING, had to run back to get it!

I said HI to a starfish,

Then, I saw a dog doing strange things,

He liked to soak not only his body, but even his head in water and sit in the freezing cold water.

He started to run big circles around all the dogs, and that's when I realized, he was my friend Simba or Big Simba since we have Simba the Lion. Simba is a very easy going guy, so I decided to um..... play with him.

(mum: you mean boss him around?)

He got a stick,

I wanted it, so I did circles around him, eying the stick,

I told him to give it to me,

He was a good boy, he listened. But I had another problem once the stick was in my possession.... it was too sandy. I yelled for help,

Mum helped me by throwing the stick back into the water. But, I was faced with yet another problem - I didn't want to let go of my RING, but I wanted the stick at the same time. So did Simba, so I dared him....

That smart Simba, he chose to run instead. That's always recommended when facing a challenging terrorist!! *wink*

I dug for rocks,

Picked the biggest one,

I found refuge on a big rock when my feet got cold from digging,

I, of course, couldn't get away from the trigger happy lady. So I was forced to pose. I posed, but my heart was not in it, can you tell?

I swear, there should be a law to how many pictures a hooman is allowed to take on a single walk to prevent insanity. Seriously.. our 1 GB memory card ran out of memory.

We walked along the beach some more where I met a GIANT, and I mean, A GIANT!!!

He was a handsome guy, at least I thought so.

He found me to be very sexy, just like all men. He tried to get all lovey with me and mum had to step in.

Due to my good nature (mum: good nature = flirtatious nature), I will put up a lot with handsome males. I will let them get all lovey even if it meant I get pushed to the ground due to their heavier weight. This only happens with handsome males tho, neutered/unhandsome males or females, you better watch out, one toe on my back and you are...*ahem* let's not go there. Anyway, mum didn't want my pelvis to be crushed, so she stepped in between me and the handsome fella... HMMMPH!

Simba and I played some more together. (mum: played as in taunted him)

I love my RING, it's my favouritest thing. I also believe because it is the coolest thing in the world, so everypup must want it.

I showed it to Simba,

I tried to get him to chase me so I could feel all important,

Finally, he got hooked on MY RING, and started to chase me. I felt very important and proud. Afterall, it is THE ring!!

But then something unfortunate happened. While I was distracted with something else, Simba got MY ring!!!

I tried to be as diplomatic as I could and reasoned with him.

(mum: as diplomatic as an anxious terrier could be = not very diplomatic afterall)
,

However, he didn't seem to get the message that is was MY ring he was holding. Yes, I taunted him, didn't mean he could have it. Rule 101 in The Terrier Handbook.

When diplomacy failed, I resorted to my usual way of handling things. One that I'm much better at, and much more familiar with.....

SEE mum, it WORKED!!! I got MY ring back!

I was so happy to be reunited with my long lost RING!!

More dogs showed up, I had more taunting victims.

I met a pretty Aire-girl on our way back up the beach. Her name was Nell, and she was 4 years old.

We sniffed each other,

We ran around,

and we did synchronized posing. See, Aire-girls know how to pose naturally.

After my romp at the beach, mum hurried home because STINKY had to go to class. I thought about complaining, but really, my romp with Simba was just too tiring....

Hello Sunshade ! Is the water of the sea really salty ? I wonder how it is to drink it.... And all your friends look just great also the starfish...

Aaaah the beach, the beach, I can tell you're a seaside bee-itch, you cavort beautifully.

And (bow)wow that's a great synchronised pose there with Nell.

The question is: did you drown Stinky (and just pretend that you were playing with your ring in the sea)?

Chow for now,

Tin Tin xo

Hey Sunshadey lady,

What a fun day at the beach. I have to confess that I am a stealer of other dog's toys.

What fun to meet a fellow Aire-girl. You look very pretty together.

Thanks for your comments on my "Muscle Bum". Mum does like to squeeze it!!!

Wow, Miss Sunshade you were very scary when you wanted your ring back! I would have dropped it in a second, but you know, it is YOUR RING, so it's okay that you do what you must to get it back.

OMG! That dog looks gigantic. I hope you were okay! Good to see that you got your ring back. Don't ya hate it when other doggies steal your toys. The rudeness of it all!

Hi Sunny,

How come you don't have any snow where you are? We got tons of it here now. Mom says it is only a few inches, but I think it is tons because it gets all stuck up in between my toes.

ugh.

Hi Sunshade,
Isn't it nice to have some alone time with your mum without Jaffa (oops, I meant Stinky) for a little while?
Big Simba is such a gentleman for giving you his stick!!

It is so funny how you love your ring and at the same time, you kinda show it off and when they want to borrow it, you refuse to lend them...

Maybe we should get Mama to get us a ring too.

Big Simba had a ton of fun at the beach as well!! Especially after figuring how what game Sunshade wanted to play.

He's been dreaming of the ring since... wait.. i think he still has it :)
