Afternoon @ Buntzen Lake

Mum took me and STINKY to Buntzen Lake in the afternoon. I was so excited in the car I started "talking" and whining and singing, you know, just the usual stuff. Then that STINKY, he had no idea what I was saying, but everytime I stopped, he would try to make the same sound I just made. (mum: it was very cute!! Jaffa would tilt his head everytime Sunshade talked, and when she stopped, he would "try" to make the same noises. Of course, they didn't come out the way he had hoped I think LOL.)

We met an Aire-girl as soon as we walked through the gate to the dog beach. She was on leash because her dad said he just spent the last half an hour trying to catch her. The dad really loved her, but she was his first dog, and he was a bit overwhelmed with the work involved in having an Airedale. Her dad kept asking mum how long it took for me to calm down, if I chewed a lot, and if mum did a lot of obedience training with STINKY since he paid a lot of attention to mum (he learned it from *ahem* the perfect Miss Sunshade).

I didn't ask her for her name, but she's 8 months old. I think she is sister to Teeka, the puppy I met back in the summer. Her dad did let her off leash again because she really wanted to play. She was quite rambunctious, and pounced on STINKY at first. STINKY was a little scared and went to hide under the picnic table. Not that I really cared about STINKY, but I didn't want any nephew of mine to look like a chicken so yes, I circled the picnic table protecting the chicken hiding under it.

After a while, STINKY decided he wasn't gonna be a chicken anymore, and the Aire-girl was not pouncing on him anymore so I let them play and went about my business.

My business these days seems to = STINKY's business

Mum showed me a rockie, we were getting ready to play my favourite "watch the rock fall game", and STINKY just had to come see the rockie too.

Here's me enjoying a quite moment as the rockies fall,

HE had to come and watch them fall too even tho he had no idea what he was looking for.

I knew what I was doing, what I wanted, HE didn't.

I posed, but parts of HIM just had to be in the picture

I refused to look into the camera until it was STINKY free.

I did a bit of socializing with the few dogs that were there

After the water at the dog beach had been fully STUNK up, mum and I (and yes, STINKY too) went to our secret spot. The water was still fresh there, and since it wasn't too freezing cold, I went for a swim.

While HE was being unproductive.

yes, sunshade, how long does it take to make you so calm in all situation?

i am having the same problem as that airegirl too. i always get excited on new thing, new environment, new hooman, basically everything new will excite me. and then i will jumping for joy, trying to be let loose from dad's hand (coz when he sees me getting so excited he will pick me up instead of letting me down by myself).

mom gets pretty annoyed, i know, but i just can't control myself!

wet wet licks

Haa. that pic with bit of Stinky's tail in it is so funny. I was wondering what's that black furry thing there.

I think Stinky needs more lessons on being productive..lol

You are such a calm dog just like Boy. But for Boy, i think it is not calm just that he is not bothered with stuff. I could steal his foos and toys and he allows me too.
