What is ALDO?
Well, a lot of you have questioned about the ALDO bag I got a hold of from my last post - The chickenDALE (part 3).
Why was mum frantic? What's the big deal about ALDO??
Well the truth is, there IS NO big deal!!! It is just a store that sells ridiculously over priced, albeit durable chew toys. To see the store catalogue, please visit their website:

It is a store that hoomans, especially the female kind like to waste their money at. I personally don't understand why they would want to buy such expensive chew toys when the much cheaper Kong or other squeakies would do just fine.
Here are a few samples of the chewies mum got from ALDO:
They, of course, have all retired from their original purposes...... and I had NOTHING to do with their retirement.... REALLY!!! It was that Bouvier who stayed with us you know, it was him.. NOT me! REALLY!
I was a little disappointed when I didn't find anything "wooden" or "leathery" in the ALDO bag on Friday night. All I found was this:
SIGH..... Oh well, better luck next time.....

Sunshade... wow, you really like those chew toys, don't you? When I was a puppy, I chewed up a toy called "Nine Wests"... Mommy says they were brand new too... I'm gonna see if mommy has any Aldo toys for me to chew..heheh. I see a few toys from :Stephane de Raucourt". Have you tried those before?

Boo, yes those are tiny chew marks, and they came from the Bouvier because he is a delicate chewer. You are right, it it were me, the whole shoe would be gone!!! SEE, it WASN'T me.
Toby: were Nine West a good chew?? I have seen those around somewhere, maybe I'll go dig them out. Oh, and I have heard of "Stephane de Raucourt", but can't seem to find any home........

I haven't tried any ALDOs or Nine Wests yet.. although looking at the pics, ALDOs seems to look good!! My favourite chews are Algorithm textbooks, Judith McNaught novels and 50 dollar bills, Hello Kitty bedroom slippers, stinky socks..

Nine West are pretty good. I got one of those when MaMa came back from her pawty, I mean party.
I totally believe that you did NOT chew those Aldo chewies! However, in the future perhaps you can get your own doofus face to blame such things on. Then you can have full time chewing with none of the hassle of waiting on a house guest to blame it on!

I don't care much for those chew toys at all. Mama's got tons of em. They just don't appeal to me.

Of course you didn't chew those human paw coverers! Those look like Bouvier teeth marks to me, oh yes they do! Those metal things are called earrings- Linda has a pair just like them. I used to try to grab them with my teeth when I was a puppy. I have been begging to get my ears pierced but Linda won't let me. I think I would look just gorgeous with dangly earrings. You would too, Sunshade.

We don't have an ALDOS, but we do have a Foley's and I get the same type fabuloud chew toys from there. They look remarkably like you chew toys! Funny, my lady never seems as happy as I am about me chewing on them.
